Basic Course Statistics - Course E19
The basic course in statistics introduces you to the statistical description and analysis of experiment data. To this end, the following topics of main emphasis are discussed and processed by the participants on the basis of practical examples:
- Introduction and revision of the basics of statistics
- Explorative statistics
- Distributions
- Inferential statistics
- Confidence intervals and interval estimation
- Test methods
- Test planning and the determination of the scope of random sampling
- Introduction to the analysis of variance (ANOVA)
In addition to this, various possibilities for the use of statistical service programs (including MS Excel) are presented and included in practical exercises.
It goes without saying that it is also possible in this course to integrate any specific problems the participants may have into the content of the training course.
