Basic Course Bioinformatics - Course E17
This course teaches you the most important applications and service programs of bioinformatics in a compact form which is required for your routine work in a modern molecular biological laboratory. During the course, you acquire knowledge of the following topics of main emphasis in practical exercises:
- Possibilities of professional database research
- "In-silico" analysis and processing of nucleic acid and protein sequences
- Preparation and optimization of primers and probe sequences
- Optimization of restriction systems
- Evaluation of molecular biological experiment data
This course requires basic knowledge of molecular biology and PC/internet utilization.
Duration: 1 day (9:30am - 5:00pm)
