Basic Course Microbiology - Course E15
In addition to biological fundamentals, this course conveys the essential work techniques required in a modern microbiological lab.
Starting off with a comprehensive introduction to bacteriology, mycology and virology, the techniques for obtaining, cultivating and analyzing micro-organisms are explained step by step in theory and practice.
The programme features:
- Introduction to the biology of bacteria, fungi and viruses
- Science and production of culture media
- Basic working and cultivation techniques
- Growing of pure cultures and selective cultivation
- Microscopic analysis techniques
- Biochemical analysis techniques
No special previous knowledge is required for this introductory course.
